About B Krrishna And His Experience

B Krrishna, One of the Partners of K Square Cinemas, is someone who has risen to the top due to his hard work and diligence. A man of humble origins, Krrishna studied until the Tenth standard but could not continue his studies because of financial constraints. However, his quest for knowledge was immense and he chose to enrol himself for a Diploma in Electricals and Electronics from the Industrial Training Institute in Tambaram, even as he began working as a boiler operator in a private firm called Shiva Medicare Pvt Ltd.

His keen sense of observation, combined with his willingness to learn and work hard soon earned him the trust of the establishment, who then promoted him to the position of Quality Controller in the boiler unit. Soon, Krrishna's uncle, who took note of his administrative abilities, asked him to join him and his factory's unit in Ranipet.

As a result, Krrishna joined Aksol Chemicals in its Ranipet branch at a very young age. Within days, he mastered all processes pertaining to the establishment including, administration, maintenance and logistics and was soon made in-charge of the entire facility. The growth did not stop there.

It was while staying in Chennai that Krrishna's first brush with the film industry happened.

He had two film industry professionals on either side as neighbours while working in Chennai. A manager of actress Vijayshanthi was one neighbour while cinematographer Ashok Kumar was the other neighbour. As someone who maintains cordial and friendly relations with all his neighbours, it wasn't long before Krrishna became friends with them. In particular, he became close to cameraman Ashok Kumar's sons and assistants who eventually became good friends of his. This resulted in him getting invited to shooting spots and film events. Naturally, his network of friends in the producer and distributor circles began to grow.

Soon, Krrishna started taking an avid interest in films. The passion for films and filmmaking kept growing and before long, Krrishna decided to make a career in films.

In particular, he developed a strong love for photography and decided to do a course in it. He enrolled for a one-year programme in multimedia called ‘I Must’ at the Image Institue of Multimedia, Anna Nagar. It is here that Krrishna mastered web, visual,and graphical designing and also learnt about two and three dimensional animation. He learnt about compositions and gained knowledge of how to make advertisements.

Krrishna did not stop with learning from just his course materials. He supplemented his knowledge in cinematography and direction by learning from leading professionals in the film industry. He began exploring cameras and the technology behind it. It wasn't long before he began excelling in this domain.

The firm began handling website projects and E-learning projects from the United States. It also began specialising in making corporate presentations to clients and dealt with making documentaries for leading companies.

Education

Krrishna, whose company began to do well, was particular aboutcompleting his formal education as well. So, the industrious youngster, while running a firm, simultaneously enrolled himself in the Madurai Kamaraj University for a Masters degree in History. He successfully completed the M.A.History programme.

DK51 Animation Medias

In December 2008, Krrishna launched yet another company called DK51 Animation medias. This company went one step further to what D 51 achieved and began handling dubbing work for television programmes like Transformer and Tysho that were then being aired on the famous Chutti TV of the Sun Network. The cartoon programmes were dubbed from several international languages including English into regional languages like Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam for Sun Network.

Krrishna also holds the distinction of being the first private producer of Chutti TV, producing the serial Super 5. Not only was he the producer and director for the serial but also its Creative Head, overseeing everything from developing the story board to dialogue approvals to 3D sets to texturing to test shoots to music composition to trail-end shoots to post production. His firm also created walk through animation for various builders and games in flash during this period. Apart from this, it also undertook work from television channels based in the UK such as UITV and international organistion GOPIO (Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin) and delivered quality output.

As a result of working on all these projects, Krrishna gained valuable experience with regard to filmmaking. Thanks to his vast knowledge and thorough understanding, he turned a visual effects director. Soon, a friend introduced him to Brian Jennings, known for his work in Kamal Hassan's Dasavatharam.

In 2010, Krrishna joined Brian Jennings to work on the visual effects of the well known film Ilaignan, directed by Suresh Krishna and written by former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.

Krrishna's work as the VFX director in Ilaignan came in for appreciation. In the meantime, he also mastered the art of trading and marketing and established a good rapport with a large number of studios in the industry. He started procuring content for OTV, an Odiya television channel from the Tamil and Telugu film industries.

A few years later, when Guru Ramesh, who had worked as director Suresh Krishna's assistant director in Ilaignan, chose to direct a film called EnnaSathamIndhaNeram, Krrishna was invited to be a part of the team.

Krrishna's career moved one step higher with EnnaSathamIndhaNeram, as he turned a Line Producer for the film which has made it to the Limca Book of Records.

AVA Productions of the Medimix Group, who were the producers of the film, were impressed with Krrishna's handling of projects and it was they who asked him to also turn Line Producer for the film. Krrishna obliged and turned a Line Producer as well.

But that did not stop from holding the position of being the film's VFX director. Not just that, Krrishna also assisted the entire direction team while the film was being made, on the whole ensuring its successful completion.

From there on, he actively got into the film trade and began dealing with dubbing movies. Today, after having handled several projects successfully, Krrishna is one of the partners of K Square Cinemas which is looking to make meaningful and successful films.
